Deprecating the Snowflake Connector¶
We're announcing the deprecation of the Snowflake Connector. Starting January 31st, 2025, you will no longer be able to create new managed Snowflake Data Sources and Connections in Tinybird. On March 31st, 2025 all existing Snowflake Data Sources will be unlinked, keeping the records they have in that moment as static data.
Moving forward, the recommended way to ingest data from Snowflake into Tinybird is by using AWS S3. You can follow our guide to ingest data from Snowflake using AWS S3 to set up this integration. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to us.
Increased performance when calling endpoints¶
We've implemented improvements in how Tinybird handles query composition. This resulted in a 30% performance improvement when doing endpoint calls. Now you're going to fly faster than ever!
Useful tooltips in the UI¶
As we got questions concerning the meaning of icons in the Data Project menu, we added useful tooltips that tell you what each icon means, including status updates on errors, new columns, and so on.
Change of HTTP status code has been canceled¶
The change of HTTP status code for query timeouts we announced on January 10 has been canceled for technical reasons. We apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused.
