Recreating r/place with Tinybird

Remember r/place? In 2017, one million users combined to place 16 million pixels on a canvas, creating the internet’s most famous mosaic in a matter of 72 hours. Come join us as we recreate r/place using Tinybird as a backend, and contribute a pixel or two of your own!

Recreate the original canvas with 2022 the r/place dataset (20GB, 160M rows)
Create our own canvas, demonstrating how to ingest pixel placement events into Tinybird and expose them via a parameterized API.
Build a simple moderator script to keep things clean. :)
Draw together in realtime!
